NEW BOARD & BLIZZARD PLOT [09:19] The blizzard has hit the Sanctuary! With such harsh weather befalling them, the researchers have moved the most needy canines into the Indoor Cells, a new sub-board of the Research Lodge. Here the youngest, oldest, sickest, and weakest canines are being housed, and more and more canines are being moved inside each day. The cells in the basement are rather cramped with everyone indoors, so tensions may flare up... As a side note, if you signed up for one of the recently posted Mala/Link pups, you don't have to forfeit them. IC we are saying that the mother, Mala, was mauled by a savage elk, which orphaned her four pups. There eldest remaining sister, Shanga, took them to the Sanctuary and gave them to humans for care, as no one else can feed them. She took them one at a time and Solum was last, but when she went back for him he was gone, possibly taken by a predator. The other three pups are now orphans in the Sanctuary. [: Serpent] NEW...AND OLD [09:18] Technically, this is our old table, just tweaked a little bit to fit our newer version of the site. I think this table suits our needs a little more since it has space for weather and stuff in the second collumn. If the need should arise, we can always reload the last one (or a new one) but for now I wanted to use this to get out some big news, and for our upcoming plot. This skin is temporary. I don't know how long we'll keep it, at least until we have a new custom one.[: Serpent]	Alpine, Sanctuary, Amarok, & Deepti Despite the earliness in the season, a terrible storm is brewing in the skies above these four regions. Heavy snowfall has begun pounding down on the Sanctuary and Alpine Pack, along with fierce sleet and large hail. And while the weather isn't as bad in Amarok and Deepti, the possible blizzard seems to hover over these lands ominously. Caddoe & Kawaisu Out of the storm's range, these two regions aren't experiencing the violent weather just yet. Kawaisu is too far south to feel the cold just yet, so snow has yet to fall in their secluded lands. Caddoe, on the banks of the River, is becoming chilly and slick, but the snow flurries are few and mild. This is the winter breeding season, when most canines choose to mate. By breeding now they ensure that their pups will be born some time in the spring, giving them the best chance at survival. After spring arrives again there will be no mating until the summer, when risk-takers might attempt having pups born in the autumn.
